How to dress a changing body with kindness

The Mom Comfort StudioApril 2, 20265 min read

The pressure to look a certain way through pregnancy is exhausting and, frankly, silly. Your body is doing extraordinary work. Your wardrobe should be doing the least.

Start with three pieces: a rib-knit top that skims rather than clings, a pair of soft-waist leggings you'd nap in, and one long cardigan that makes you feel put-together in three seconds.

Look for over-the-bump bands in a cotton-modal blend — they're softer than nylon-heavy shapewear and they don't roll down when you sit. Under-the-bump can work early on, but many moms find them uncomfortable past week 20.

One quiet trick: buy your pre-pregnancy size in our knits. They're designed with 4-way stretch and a longer body, so they'll grow with you and still fit beautifully postpartum.
