The single most useful garment is a soft crossover top. No hidden zippers, no clips to fumble with at 3am — just fabric that lifts away easily and falls back into place beautifully.
Layer with a stretchy bandeau underneath so you can lift your top without exposing your belly (which stays tender for months, and that's normal).
For sleep, we love a button-front night dress in bamboo jersey. It's cool, breathable, and forgiving of leaks — because there will be leaks, and that's part of it too.
